A TEENAGER who was in a four-hour standoff with police was last night being questioned by police.
The 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill following an incident on Tuesday.
Officers were called to Kelmoor Road, Alvaston, at 1.30pm. Dog units, armed officers and specialist negotiators were at the scene.
He had locked himself in the property and there were concerns for his safety. At 5.30pm the police entered the house and detained him.
A force spokesman said: "The man was discharged from hospital yesterday lunchtime and arrested."
