ENGLAND'S mixed badminton squad - featuring Team Derby's Rajiv Ouseph, Andy Ellis and Kate Robertshaw - had to be content with silver at the Commonwealth Games tonight.
Malaysia claimed gold after building an unassailable 3-1 lead against England in the best-of-five final at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.
Team Derby's Rajiv Ouseph lost 17-21, 21-19, 19-21 to Chong Wei Feng in the match.
And his Team Derby team-mate Andy Ellis lost his men's doubles with Chris Adcock 19-21, 17-21 to Wee Kiong Tan and Wei Shem Goh. Robertshaw did not play in the final.
