NOTTINGHAM Forest defender Jack Hobbs has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
The 25-year-old centre-back joined Forest from Hull City on transfer deadline day in January, signing a four-and-half-year contract.
Hobbs had impressed during a loan spell at the City Ground but injuries have restricted him to only two appearances since January 11.
"Jack has sustained a stress fracture in his ankle, which will more or less rule him out for the season," said Forest boss Billy Davies.
CHELSEA starlet Nathan Ake has been linked with a loan move to Bolton Wanderers.
The highly-rated Dutch defender could be allowed to gain first-team experience in the Championship.
Bolton boss Dougie Freedman is keen to secure the youngster's services on an emergency loan deal, according to the Sunday People.
Derby County take on Bolton at the iPro Stadium a week on Tuesday.
