A TEENAGER was taken to hospital with a stab wound after a house party "got out of hand" in Chellaston.
Police said they were called to a home in Sandyhill Close, off Fellow Lands Way, after reports of a "large disturbance" and that "someone had possibly been stabbed".
A spokesman for Derbyshire police said, when officers arrived, they found a large group of teenagers who had been at a party.
He said among them was a 17-year-old man who appeared to have a stab wound to his shoulder and he was taken to hospital for treatment. He said the injury was "minor".
The spokesman said it also appeared the party had been gatecrashed.
He said: "We are investigating the incident and the circumstances surrounding it, including making house-to-house inquiries.
"This is believed to be a one-off incident where a party got out of hand after it appears a number of people gatecrashed it."
Police have not yet made any arrests.
