AN overturned lorry full of spuds caused long travel delays yesterday.
The 28 tonnes of potatoes took almost seven hours to remove from the road near the Little Eaton roundabout.
Fire crews were called to the scene at midday yesterday and there were large queues along the A38 following the incident.
The driver of the heavy goods vehicle had to be cut from the cab by the fire service after becoming trapped.
