TWO fence fires broke out in separate gardens in Derby over the past 24 hours.
The first broke out in Radford Street, Alvaston, at 2pm yesterday.
Firefighters said a small bonfire had spread to the fence, causing it to go up in flames.
Later, at 10.30pm, crews were called out to Selkirk Street in Chaddesden to deal with a similar incident.
This time the fire involved a fence between two semi-detached properties.
A spokesman for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said the flames caused a small amount of smoke damage to the outside of the properties.
No-one was hurt in either incident.
