SURROUNDED by snow-covered rhododendron bushes, Sarah Beet trudges through the snow with homemade hot cross buns.
The 36-year-old, who owns the Tea Garden Cafe at Lea Gardens, near Matlock, battled through the wintry conditions to make sure customers at the cafe did not go without the Easter goodies.
The unseasonable weather has seen many of the plants at the azalea and rhododendron garden damaged by snow.
Pete Tye, head gardener at Lea Gardens, said the snowfall had caused much disruption.
He said: "It's been a lot of work propping up snow-laden plants and trying to save them. We've spent days bashing the snow off the flowers and branches."
The county has experienced heavy snowfall, subzero temperatures and a biting easterly wind over the past few days, affecting farmers and businesses.
