THE criminal defence team at Derby law firm Smith Partnership has relocated to offices opposite St Mary's Wharf police station.
The offices at Prime Parkway, Mansfield Road, will allow the 23 members of the department to get to people in custody faster.
The crime team has now left its former base in the Wardwick.
Criminal defence partner Andrew Oldroyd said: "We are extremely proud to open these new offices as we continue with the firm's expansion and development.
"We are consolidating our position as a firm very proud of its roots in Derby.
"Given the proximity of the premises to the police station, we look forward to maximising the quality of the service available to our valued clients."
