SNOW is expected to fall over night on high ground across the East Midlands.
Wintery outbreaks of rain, turning in to sleet or snow are moving their way from the north of the country into Derbyshire.
At lower levels, many places will probably see little or no snow, but a few areas could catch 1cm to 4cm.
A few places on high ground may see between 4cm and 10cm
Ice will be an additional hazard where skies clear later in the night.
People travelling late tonight and in the peak travel times in the morning should takke extra care and plan their jouney carefully.
