DERBY County striker Conor Sammon is set to make his full senior international debut on Wednesday night.
Sammon has been named in the Republic of Ireland starting line-up for the friendly against Poland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin (7.45pm).
The 26-year-old will partner West Bromwich Albion forward Shane Long up front for Giovanni Trapattoni's side.
Sammon's Derby team-mates Richard Keogh and Jeff Hendrick have missed out on a starting spot but are expected to be on the bench.
