A 22-YEAR-OLD motorist has been warned by the police about his driving after he was spotted pulling youths who were sat in an inflated inner tube along icy roads in South Derbyshire.
Police received two calls to the incidents, which took place in Hartshorne, yesterday.
The first call came from a resident in Goseley Avenue at noon and the second call from someone in Hartshill Road, at 1pm.
Officers attended and caught the man, who is from Woodville, pulling the youths with his Audi A3.
A rope had been tied to the rear bumper and the other end was tied around the inner tube.
Inspector Paul Cannon, who is in charge of policing in South Derbyshire, said: "Those concerned must have thought this was a bit of fun
but there was no regard to safety.
"We warned the motorist and those involved of the dangers and offered him some very strong advice that if he were caught again we would seize his vehicle."
