UP to six masked raiders are believed to be involved in a burglary in Derby.
Witnesses told police they saw the men, who were all wearing dark clothing and balacalvas, outside the Co-op store in Borrowash.
The offenders broke shutters and smashed a window to gain entry to the Victoria Avenue store.
Once inside they loaded cigarettes and alcohol into a large bag before fleeing.
The incident happened at 4.25pm yesterday when the shop was closed.
No-one was hurt and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A force spokmesman said: "Witnesses that we have spoken to so far say up to six men were seen.
"They fled in two cars, one was black and one was silver but these are the only descriptions we have been given so far."
Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101.
