The Smithfield pub, in Meadow Road, Derby, has opened for business again following a full refurbishment. The new landlady is Claire Muldoon, pictured below, in the middle of the front row. Customers flocked to the bar on the opening night to see the fresh new interior and, of course, sample the ale, including one called The Smithy which was specially created for the reopening.
