A 39-YEAR-OLD Derby man has been charged with robbery after he allegedly passed a note to a bank cashier, demanding money.
Stuart Denton, 39, of Hartington Street, Derby, appeared before magistrates in the city on Monday.
He was remanded into custody to appear at Derby Crown Court on January 2.
Police say shortly before 4pm on Thursday, December 13, a man walked into Natwest, in St Peter's Street and went up to the counter.
He passed a female cashier a note, which demanded money.
The bank's alarm was activated and the man walked off empty-handed.
