An 88-year-old woman is in hospital this morning after being in collision with a lorry.
Police say she was on a mobility scooter in Chellaston Road, Derby, near the junction with High Street, when the incident happened at 10.30am.
Police say the lorry driver "either didn't realise he'd hit or or drove off."
The woman was conscious after the accident but was taken to Royal Derby Hospital with a head injury.
