BRISTOL Street Motors has officially opened its new Nissan dealership in Derby.
The two-storey facility in Sir Frank Whittle Road has been fully refurbished and includes staff training facilities.
The redevelopment of the site follows Bristol Street Motors' acquisition of the Co-operative Motor Group's Derby Nissan and Fiat franchises in September under a £5.5 million deal.
The company, part of the Vertu Motors Group, is also soon to open a Volvo dealership at the site.
The new Nissan showroom has space to display 12 vehicles from the brand's line-up and outside there is room for a further 145.
Electric vehicle charging points are in the process of being installed in preparation for the arrival of the new Nissan Leaf early next year.
Benjamin Locke is leading a team of 13 covering sales, service and the Motability Scheme.
He said: "The newly refurbished dealership is a quality motor retail outlet offering customers from Derby and the surrounding area the best value and the highest customer service.
"We have experienced and knowledgeable colleagues who are able to advise customers to find the model which is right for them.
"We are proud to offer them a comprehensive buying experience which is followed through to our after-sales department. Customer satisfaction is the most important thing at our dealership and we want people to visit our site so we can assist them with all their motoring needs."
The dealership's after-sales team is fully trained in using the latest vehicle diagnostic technology for Nissan and can work on all other car brands.
The dealership is an approved Motability franchise and staff are on hand seven days a week to help customers make the right choice when considering a vehicle purchase.
