DESTINY, the most expensive video game ever to be made, has finally been released.
The £310m budget for the game is roughly twice the cash spent on blockbuster Avatar.
Bungie, the company behind the game, already has pedigree in making massively successful games making the incredibly popular Halo series.
The success of that game helped secure the huge amount of capital needed for Destiny.
The game, launched today, sees a first person campaign mode as well as a huge number of side missions that can be played cooperatively with friends and sees you take on a mystery enemy known only as The Darkness.
The stock version of the game will cost around £40 but more expensive versions are available, however savvy shoppers will be able to find deals on console bundles.
