HALF of the allocated tickets to see Grease at Intu Derby's drive-in movie have sold on the first day of going on sale.
Fifty tickets were sold today for the screening, which will be shown at the top floor of the shopping centre's car park on Thursday, September 4.
Tania Vesty, marketing manager at Intu Derby, said: "We've had a huge amount of interest in our drive-in movie since we announced it earlier this summer.
"All proceeds will go to When You Wish Upon A Star so it's raising money for a really great cause too.
Tickets cost £10 per car, with a maximum of four people per car, and can be collected from Intu Derby's customer service desk.
Only one ticket can be bought per person.
