DERBY County fell to a 3-0 defeat at Championship leaders Crystal Palace this afternoon.Glenn Murray scored twice and Brazilian Andre Moritz added the other as Palace maintained their fine run of form at the top, while the Rams suffered a second defeat on the trot in the capital after losing to Millwall last Saturday. The Rams made two changes for the game against the Eagles.Jake Buxton and Michael Jacobs come in for James O'Connor and top scorer Theo Robinson.Buxton partnered Richard Keogh at the heart of the defence and Jacobs was on the left side of midfield.Jacobs' inclusion meant Will Hughes switched to a more central role in midfield along with Jeff Hendrick and Craig Bryson, while Paul Coutts was on the right.Goalkeeper Frank Fielding was among the substitutes after he came through his first 90 minutes of match action - in the Rams under-21s in midweek - since suffering a groin injury in Derby's draw with Middlesbrough at the beginning of October.Going into the game, all the talk was about Palace star Wilfried Zaha, fresh from going on as an 85th-minute substitute for his first England cap in the midweek friendly against Sweden. But it was the Moritz who stole the show, justifying his selection in Ian Holloway's first change to the starting line-up since taking charge of the Eagles, replacing Owen Garvan.Palace opened the scoring in the 12th minute, Murray heading home at the far post from a Yannick Bolasie corner. It was 2-0 just before the hour mark when Damien Delaney delivered a diagonal ball onto the head of Murray, whose knock-down fell to Moritz to crash home a volley past keeper Adam Legzdins.Murray completed his brace in the 82nd minute, cutting inside two defenders before firing past Legzdins for his 15th goal of the season.Rams substitute Theo Robinson threatened at the other end, while Palace keeper Julian Speroni was alert to deny a late Hughes effort but the Eagles were comfortable winners.CRYSTAL PALACE: Speroni, Ward, Parr, Bolasie (Easter 88), Dikgacoi, Jedinak, Zaha, Murray (Wilbraham 88), Delaney, Ramage, Moritz (Garvan 75). other subs: Price, Blake, Moxey, O'Keefe.DERBY COUNTY: Legzdins; Brayford, Keogh, Buxton, Roberts; Coutts (Tyson 81), Hendrick, Bryson, Hughes, Jacobs, Sammon (Robinson 74).
