TURNOUT for the Police Crime Commissioner elections was as low as 13% in parts of Derbyshire.
The latest figures show that in Derby City, just 12.75% of those eligible to vote in yesterday's elections did. In Erewash that figure was better, at 15.1% and in Amber Valley it was 16.9%. In South Derbyshire it was just over 14% while in more rural Derbyshire Dales the highest turnout figure in the county was recorded of 19.1%.
Overall the average turnout was a disappointing 14.75%.
Votes are still being counted with results due this evening.
