Firefighters attended a blaze in a house in Littleover on Monday night at 8.10pm.
The fire, which was in the bedroom of the semi-detached house, was put out by two fire crews, one from Ascot Drive and another from Kingsway.
The property was ventilated, a fire investigation was undertaken and crews left the scene at 9pm.
It is understood that nobody was hurt in the blaze.
