WELL done, P Parker, for her letter (Derby Telegraph, November 3) asking the Telegraph to help in our fight against the incinerator planned to be built in Sinfin Lane.
I second her plea and also wish to ask why representatives from Sainsbury's, McDonald's, Pizza Hut and KFC have not commented or even attended any meetings regarding this blight on the people and area of Sinfin and Osmaston.
This obnoxious incinerator will affect their premises as the gases being belched out will only have to travel to the back of the incinerator building and reach their premises to be absorbed and cover their products.
Surely these shops and food outlets should be shouting out with the rest of us to stop this monstrosity ruining our area and lives and their livelihood?
If you saw the picture of Sinfin (Page 22, November 3), all that area and beyond will be affected and polluted. Do we want that? I don't think so.
Come on, people of Sinfin and Osmaston, and the rest of Derby, stand up and have your say before it's too late.
