A HOME was damaged by after being hit by smoke from a fire which gutted a motorbike.
Firefighters were called to the house, in Keswick Close, Kirk Hallam, on Wednesday at about 8.40pm.
A spokeswoman for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said the motorbike was at the rear of the house and smoke from the fire entered the building.
She said firefighters ventilated the home and fitted two smoke alarms.
It is not thought anyone was injured and it is believed the fire was caused accidentally.
