A WOMAN suffered cuts and bruises after she was allegedly assaulted in Derby city centre.
Police said they are investigating what happened to the 38-year-old when she was in Porter Road on May 7, at about noon.
They have only just released details.
A 24-year-old woman, from Derby, has been arrested, questioned and bailed pending further investigation.
A spokesman for Derbyshire police said: "Officers are interested in speaking to any members of the public who may hold information about this incident.
"They are particularly keen to speak with anybody who was in nearby Stanhope Street at about 11.45am on that day."
