DERBY County boss Steve McClaren was pleased with the test his side face at Leeds United ahead of their Championship play-off semi-final against Brighton.
The Rams drew 1-1 at Elland Road in the final match of their regular campaign.
With nothing riding on the game in terms of league position, McClaren made six changes to his starting line-up.
At full-time, Brighton were confirmed as third-placed Derby's play-off opponents, thanks to a late win at Nottingham Forest.
"We wanted to turn in a performance and be hard to beat and we did that," said McClaren.
"They gave us a hard test but we showed tremendous attitude.
"Over the last few weeks we have cemented our place in the play-offs and our level of performance hasn't dropped.
"When I took the job, I would have said you were mad if you had told me we would finish where we are, but the players have been magnificent, adding consistency to their game."
