DERBY weatherman Martin Harris has warned the city could wake up to snow on Thursday morning.
Martin, who runs the weather page Weather Update Derby, said this may be caused by an incoming front from Scandinavia.
He said: "Looks like we may wake up to a slight covering of snow Thursday morning, ridge of high pressure from Scandinavia is currently edging towards the UK bringing cooler air over the next few days with a risk of snow Wed night/Thurs morning.
"By the weekend the winds will come up from the south bringing warmer drier weather with temps above 15℃"
