NATHAN Morris, 27, of Handel Street, Derby, was given a six-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months, for possessing mephedrone on November 19. He must pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He was given a further one-week sentence, to run concurrently and also suspended for 12 months, for failing to surrender to custody on January 27.

LIAM Joseph Pritchett, 21, of Heanor Road, Ilkeston, was jailed for 12 weeks for stealing meat from Aldi; for stealing spirits from B&M; for stealing a game from Game Stores; and for stealing make-up from Wilkinsons – all on January 28.

DAVID Paul Harrison, 32, of Springfield Gardens, Ilkeston, was fined £77 with a £20 victim surcharge and told to pay £35 costs for driving without wearing a seatbelt on July 12.

ANDREI Ciprian Pintilie, 23, of Howe Street, Derby, was fined £200 with a £20 victim surcharge and told to pay £85 costs for driving over the speed limit on July 9.

EDITH Okereke, 33, of Dashwood Street, Derby, was fined £334, with £35 costs, for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence some time after August 16. Her licence was endorsed with six penalty points. She was also fined £334, with £33 victim surcharge, and told to pay £35 costs, for failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence some time after August 20. She was disqualified from driving for six months.

KENNETH Arthur Brown, 70, of Havenbaulk Lane, Littleover, was fined £176, with £20 victim surcharge, and told to pay £35 costs, for driving without due care and attention on July 23. His licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

DANIEL Scott Parker, 25, of Boswell Square, Sunny Hill, was given a 16-week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, for possessing cannabis and cocaine on September 24. He must pay £80 surcharge and £85 costs.

RICHARD Graham MacLean, 53, of Osmaston Road, Derby, was fined £600, with £60 victim surcharge, and told to pay £85 costs, for driving without insurance on July 29. His licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

NATHAN Hamlyn, 32, of Woodlands Road, Allestree, was fined £67, with £20 victim surcharge, and told to pay £35 costs, for driving without wearing a seatbelt on July 6.

LINDSEY Joynson, 44, of Merton Drive, Derby, was fined £135, with £20 victim surcharge, told to pay £35 costs, and had three points put on her licence for speeding on July 9.
