THE Met office has issued a weather warning for snow in the county that lasts until Wednesday morning.
A spokesman for the Met Office said: "Showers will turn increasingly to snow on Tuesday, even down to low levels, and will continue through Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.
"The public should be aware of the risk of some travel disruption and difficult driving conditions."
Derby forecaster Martin Harris is also predicting snow to hit the county during "the middle of this week".
