CRAIG Bryson sealed Derby County's 3-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers with his 10th goal of the season.
The midfielder curled a low shot past Ross Turnbull in the 77th minute to complete the scoring at the iPro Stadium on Saturday.
In doing so, Bryson became the second Derby player to reach double figures for the season after striker Chris Martin.
"At the moment, when I get a chance, I feel confident I can take it," said the Scotland international.
"I've always been confident I can score goals but, this season, everything I hit seems to be going in.
"When I got in that position, it was a case of not panicking and just trying to find the target. Luckily for me, it went in.
"I got inside and tried to find the far corner. I didn't know if it was in or not.
"I thought it was hitting the post but I was delighted to see it go in - and it sealed the game for us."
Derby have now won seven games in a row - for the first time since the promotion-winning campaign of 1995-96.
Steve McClaren's men remain fourth in the Championship table but they are now only three points off top spot.
"It was a great win," said Bryson. "It wasn't the best we've played this season but to grind out another victory and make it seven in a row was excellent.
"It was nip and tuck for a while. It shows you just how hard the Championship is.
"Doncaster came here struggling in 20th position and have given a really good account of themselves.
"They will probably feel a bit hard done by."
