THE latest theme for photographers in the Derby Telegraph's camera club revolved around colour.

Steve Gilman, of Somercotes, took this picture of the warm colours of the woodland.

It was taken at Pennytown Ponds, in his village.

John Fowler, of Chaddesden, captured his seasonal shot while on holiday.

He spotted a pair of macaws at a bird sanctuary in South Africa.

Eyeing up an essence of colours at night was Alison Roberts' project.

Alison, of Chellaston, had some fun at the Castle Donington charter fair, with some low-light photography.

Picture editor Victoria Wilcox, who runs the TogsQuad club said: "Our photographers' results are always creative and very varied.

"I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with this month."

This month's TogsQuad meeting is at Quad, in Derby Market Place, from 7pm on Thursday.

The session costs £3 per person and booking is essential.

The topic for December has a festive theme.

Anyone going along is encouraged to take a picture on this theme to get the chance of winning a pair of cinema tickets.
