A STUDENT has died after being found injured at the University of Derby.
Emergency services were called to the Kedleston Road campus shortly before 4pm on Wednesday by security staff who had found a young man unconscious.
The man was taken to Royal Derby Hospital with serious injuries but was pronounced dead.
Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death but it is not being treated as suspicious.
His family has been informed.
A spokesman for the university said they had nothing further to add.
