POLICE have released this image of a man to whom they want to speak about an assault in Derby.
A 68-year-old man was walking along Victoria Street, near to the junction with Green Lane, when he was approached by two men.
One man asked him if he had any cash to spare and, when he said no, the man punched the victim in the face and the two men walked off, leaving the victim on the floor.
He suffered a cut above his eye and a fractured hand from the fall.
Police have released this CCTV picture of a man to whom they want to speak, who was in the area at the time. He is white with shaven dark hair. He wore blue jeans and a black jacket.
The assault happened at around 7.45pm on Monday, May 20, but police have only now released this image.
