Shoppers at Derby's Westfield Centre were surprised by a Bollywood flashmob on Saturday. The event, organised by Surtal Arts, was part of a celebration of 100 years of Indian cinema and featured an energetic dance routine performed by more than 60 people. Zayna Ahmed, 11, of Chellaston was among the crowd who watched the flashmob. She said: "It was really interesting and fun. "It was a traditional Bollywood dance but not too traditional, so everybody could get involved." The centenary celebrations will continue with film screenings and dance performances at Quad, as well as a Bollywood Ball, on November 9, at Pride Park.
