MICHAEL Jacobs will make his first Championship start for Derby County against Ipswich Town at Portman Road tonight (7.45pm).
Midfielder Jeff Hendrick has been ruled out with an ankle injury he picked up in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers.
Hendrick is replaced by summer signing Jacobs, who will line up wide on the left, allowing Will Hughes to revert to a central role.
Defender Gareth Roberts is named among the substitutes following a hamstring injury, while midfielder Ben Davies is back on the bench.
Forward Jamie Ward (hamstring) and goalkeeper Frank Fielding (groin) remain sidelined.
