Top scorer Jamie Ward (hamstring), midfielder Craig Bryson (groin) and striker Conor Sammon, who was dropped for Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Barnsley, are recalled to the starting line-up, replacing Ben Davies, Kieron Freeman and Mason Bennett.
Meanwhile, midfielder Hughes, who celebrated his 18th birthday this week by signing a new contract with the Rams, is named among the substitutes after two months out with a groin injury.
