A BURGLAR is being hunted by police after absconding from a Derbyshire prison.
Jason Thomas failed to return to HMP Sudbury on Sunday.
The 40-year-old was jailed for three years for burglary at Sheffield Crown Court on January 9, 2012.
He is white, 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build, with mousey, wavy hair and blue eyes.
His last known address was in Totley, Sheffield.
Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Thomas is asked not to approach him but to immediately contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
