POLICE in Ripley have increased patrols and are appealing for residents to be vigilant after a number of burglaries in the town.
Over the last two weeks there have been break-ins at houses and outbuildings in Priory Way, Poppyfields and Argyll Road.
Extra uniformed and plain clothes officers will be on patrol around the town to reassure the community and prevent further burglaries taking place.
Police are also asking residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour.
